This is a well-muscled gun dog with a unique colour. Named after the grand Duke of Weimar, it is an alert and obedient dog. It works well in field trials having grace, speed, stamina, and endurance. There is a short-haired and less common long-haired variety. It weighs 32-39 kgs and is 56-69 cms in height.
